WINE-SPECIFIC CONDITIONS

 Shipping & Returns:

Legal Requirements

You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Joseph Cellars. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober individual over the age of 21 years of age.  Wines purchased from Joseph Cellars are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.

 

Damaged or flawed wine

Joseph Cellars guarantees quality products and service. Your satisfaction is our first priority. We will replace or refund your cost for any bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed that was purchased through our website. We ask that you return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the products are corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Weather damage may include leakage, freezing, and/or corks pushing. Please be sure to check shipping destination weather conditions before placing your order.

 

To arrange for the return of corked or flawed products, please send an email to mail@josephcellars.com.

 

If the original shipment was damaged or flawed, you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges, or you will receive a full replacement order.

 

Shipping Costs

FedEx is Joseph Cellars carrier of choice. The customer is responsible for all associated shipping charges at current market rates regardless of his or her purchase amount. Current market rates are subject to change at any time without notice.

 

Shipping Wine – A Perishable Commodity

Exposure to extreme temperatures has been proven to damage wine. In an effort to maintain our standards of quality, shipping orders will be held during periods of inclement weather (periods of heat or extreme cold along the transit route).  Joseph Cellars is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.  Please call us if you have questions about what shipping method to use and all related costs 707-942-9998.

 

Credit Card Charges

Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  If you would like to provide an alternate form of payment for your order, please call us at the winery 707-942-9998.

 

Minimum Purchase

No minimum purchase is required.
