2019 Chardonnay
Tasting Notes
Our Chardonnay is sourced from 40-year-old, dry farmed vines that are some of the oldest in the St. Helena AVA. A portion is fermented in one of our concrete Nomblot Eggs and the rest in neutral French oak barrels. After aging sur lie, these two styles are blended together. Our 2019 Chardonnay is medium bodied with notes of butterscotch, honeysuckle, and clove. The palate offers rich notes of lemon meringue and baked pear with a clean finish.
